I Loosing Money sono una giovane band italiana nata nel 2023 in provincia, formata da Vladimir Caroli alla chitarra e voce, Irene Ippoliti al basso e Mathias Plaisier alla batteria. Tre personalità e influenze diverse che si incontrano tra rock, punk e funky, dando vita a un sound energico, diretto e in continua evoluzione. La contaminazione è il cuore del progetto: nessuna etichetta da inseguire, ma la libertà di sperimentare e trasformare le differenze in un'identità comune. Scrivono in italiano e in inglese, muovendosi con naturalezza tra lingue, generi e influenze.

Anche il nome Loosing Money è una dichiarazione: la musica prima del profitto e della materialità. Un'idea che si riflette nel loro modo di creare, libero dalle etichette e dall'omologazione, dove sperimentare è il modo per ricercare una voce comune.

Giovanissimi, hanno costruito il proprio percorso dal basso, partendo dai piccoli palchi della provincia e facendo del live la propria gavetta. In appena tre anni hanno superato i 40 concerti, arrivando ad aprire i Planet Funk e a suonare in contesti come International Biker Fest e San Basilio Waterfront Music Fest di Venezia.

Ai live si affiancano i primi riconoscimenti: il secondo posto al Miela Music Contest, la vittoria allo Spililand Summer Festival e, nel 2025, la selezione tra i 30 progetti del Rock Contest di Controradio a Firenze, tappa importante nel percorso della band oltre i confini della propria scena di origine.

Nel 2025 pubblicano il primo singolo "Tutto ciò che vuoi", seguito nel 2026 da "Distante". Il 3 luglio 2026 arriva "Just To Play", EP d'esordio di sei tracce che attraversano generi, contrasti e influenze senza cercare una definizione.

Un titolo che racchiude la loro visione: giocare con la musica per sentirsi liberi di sperimentare, contaminare e andare oltre le convenzioni. Dalla provincia verso nuovi palchi, mantenendo intatto ciò da cui tutto è partito: la musica prima di tutto.

Loosing Money are an Italian band born in 2023 from the mixing of rock, punk and funky contaminations. Their name is itself a declaration: Music comes before everything, before profit and consume. Starting off from small stages, among their more than 40 live concerts, they opened for Planet funk, played at Biker Fest and at San Basilio Music Fest in Venice. They also won the 2nd price at Miela Musica contest, won at Spililand Summer Festival and got selected for Rock Contest by Controradio Florence. In 2026 they published their first EP "Just To Play" which contains songs in both italian and english.

Loosing Money are a young band from Italy born in 2023. The members of the band are Vladimir Caroli, guitar and main vocals; Irene Ippoliti, bass and back vocals and Mathias Plaisier drums and back vocals. Three different personalities and influences which intermingle through rock, punk and funky, forming an energetic sound, straightforward and in constant evolution. Contamination is at the core of this project: no category to stick to, freedom of experimentation and transformation of diversity into a single common identity. They write both in English and in Italian moving easily through languages, genres and influences.

The name Loosing Money is itself a declaration: music comes before everything, before profit and before consume. That is an idea which has remarkable influence in their creating process, free from genres and homologation. Where experimentation is the way towards a common identity

Still very young, they started giving shape to their project through playing on many different stages. In just three years they have played more than 40 concerts even getting to open for the band Planet Funk and to play in international contexts such as at the Biker Fest and at San Basilio Waterfront Music Fest in Venice.

Along with thier live sets there have started to arrive also several prices: 2nd place at Miela Music contest, 1st place at Spililand Summer Festival and in 2025 the selection among the 30 participants for Rock Contest by Controradio Florence, this has been an important step in the band's expansion beyond regional borders.

In 2025 they published their first single "Tutto ciò che vuoi", followed in 2026 by "Distante". On the 3rd of July 2026 arrives the band's first EP by the name "Just To Play", 6 tracks which move through different genres, contrasts and influences, without looking for a definition

The title of the EP summarizes their vision: to play with music, to feel free to experiment, to contamine and to go beyond homologation. From the provincial land towards new stages, always keeping faith to where it all started from: "Music before everything".
